Inside The Fashion Project

The Fashion Project is a Greek fashion retailer operating at the volume and cycle speed that modern apparel demands: new drops on a tight cadence, returns and exchanges as a first-class workflow, multiple payment methods, and a customer base that expects same-day responses. Engagements of this shape, where the platform has to keep pace with a brand that is always one season ahead of its operations, sit at the core of Existanze's implementation practice. Our methodology rests on fifteen years of systems-integration work, our proprietary EXN Middleware platform, a canonical data model honed across 90+ production integrations, and a portfolio of Odoo modules we author and maintain in-house. The Fashion Project chose Existanze, and the integration surface has grown with the business since launch.

What we did

Greek fashion retail on Odoo with EXN Middleware and EXN Shopify

The Fashion Project runs on Odoo across Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Accounting. Accounting sits on our EXN Greek Localization and EXN AADE MyData modules, so every order, return, and refund reconciles to AADE in real time, with the document classification codes the Greek tax regime requires. The integration layer is where the engagement gets distinctive. Shopify is the storefront, and the Shopify-to-Odoo bridge is carried by EXN Middleware and our EXN Shopify connector, the same tight integration pattern we deploy across our Shopify-led retail accounts so that the storefront and the ERP move on one canonical data model rather than reconciling after the fact.

The integration footprint today covers the surfaces a high-volume fashion retailer actually uses: a bidirectional Shopify-to-Odoo synchronisation that keeps catalogue, orders, inventory, and Shopify Metafields aligned between storefront and ERP in real time, with the multiple storefront payment methods Shopify exposes mapped tightly into Odoo's default payment handling so every checkout reconciles inside the ERP without a manual finance-side reconciliation step; a bespoke RMA flow we designed and implemented end to end, with a customer-facing returns portal that owns the customer-side experience, explicit service-cost handling on the return so refunds, restocking, and shipping costs are computed correctly per case, courier selection at the return step so the inbound carrier is chosen against the rate sheet and the destination, and order-line-level return protection so a partial return on a multi-line order does not lose its provenance against the original transaction; WMS and 3PL connectivity for the warehouse and outbound shipping side; and our EXN Courier service carrying the multi-carrier outbound flow with DHL for international shipments, real-time traceability across every supported courier, Cash-on-Delivery handling, and post-delivery consolidation flowing back into Odoo.

Returns were the place our previous setup hurt the most. Existanze built us a returns portal that treats it as a first-class workflow, not an afterthought, and the rest of the platform unifies the storefront, the warehouse, the carriers, and the back office in one place. We finally see the whole operation.

A reference for fashion retail on Odoo

The Fashion Project is one of our most active fashion-retail accounts on Odoo. The platform has scaled with the brand rather than the brand outgrowing the platform: every new payment method, every new courier, every new fulfillment surface has been added into the same coherent system, on the same data model, with the same compliance backbone underneath.

We are systems-integration experts and long-term Odoo partners. We use Odoo as the key business framework for our systems deployability and integration work, providing businesses with a holistic environment to achieve across the board organization transparency.
