Inside Pandas

Pandas is the experience layer for device circularity, a software platform that lets mobile network operators, tech retailers, OEMs, and e-commerce marketplaces launch trade-in, used-device protection, and claim-validation journeys across retail, web, and in-app, with on-the-spot AI grading that turns customer intent into a settled transaction in seconds. The platform is agentic and vendor-agnostic by design, plugging into the program owner's network of buyers, insurers, and processors, and orchestrating the per-device flow from offer to payout so a customer journey that begins as a tap on a phone ends as an audited financial event. Operations of this shape, where a consumer-grade journey is wrapped around a deep operational and financial surface that has to close every transaction the same day it happens, are exactly what Existanze's implementation practice is built for. Our methodology rests on fifteen years of systems-integration work, our proprietary EXN Middleware platform, a canonical data model honed across 90+ production integrations, and a portfolio of Odoo modules we author and maintain in-house, including the bespoke configuration that lands wherever the standard Odoo surface needs to be extended. Pandas chose Existanze for the platform underneath the platform, and the engagement has compounded year on year as the Pandas product has evolved into the experience layer it is today.

Device-circularity operations on Odoo with EXN Middleware as the business-level bridge

Pandas runs on Odoo across CRM, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Accounting, and our EXN Middleware sits between the Pandas agentic platform and the ERP as a business-level bridge. Pandas's partner network, the MNOs, retailers, OEMs, and e-commerce marketplaces that run programs on the platform, talks to the back office in the language of its own operations while still enjoying the full state-of-the-art functionality of the Pandas solution. Every per-device event from the platform, device acceptance, grading outcome, pricing decision, customer acceptance, outbound consumer payment, is normalised by the middleware and posted into Odoo as an event against the same record, so the financial settlement, the inventory movement, and the consumer-facing transaction all resolve to one truth.

Inventory carries the WMS layer for the operation. Multi-warehouse and multi-route stock logic moves devices from the moment of acceptance through the program owner's downstream supply chain, with each device tracked as a serialised stock movement and the full circularity device catalog maintained and coded inside Odoo so selling and inventory management both resolve against the same canonical product model. Sales and CRM cover the program-owner and partner relationships. Accounting sits on our EXN Greek Localization and EXN AADE MyData modules so every transaction reconciles to AADE in real time on the document classification codes the Greek tax regime requires.

Bespoke Odoo configuration was built around the platform-to-account operational model, so the operational loop closes inside one back office: the customer journey, the device, the consumer payment, and the regulatory record all resolve against the same truth.
